Here at FCC the Unwithered Praise and Worship Band preaches the message of Jesus Christ through intimate worship and sacrificial praise until him. Praise and worship is much more than just a few songs during the services to get to the preaching. It is a way of ushering in the Holy Spirit of God into the service. The band leads the congregation through many songs, prayers, and messages in this manner. They spend hours every week preparing for any and every opportunity to spread the message.
The biggest attribute of Unwithered is the ability that God has given them to minister in many forms of Christian music. The band plays songs ranging from Gospel music to Contemporary Christian to Prophetic Worship. As long as the word of God is brought forth in a song, they will sing and play it. They have a wide variety of songs from artists such as: Rick Pino, Jason Upton, The Ramp Worship Band, Chris Tomlin, The Crabb Family, Michael W. Smith, Jeremy Camp, Eddie James, Misty Edwards, Kari Jobe, and many more. They also from time to time write their own songs and rewrite the music to many traditional Gospel songs. They use many instruments such as keyboards, electric and acoustic guitars, bass guitar, drums, and many vocals.
The Unwithered Praise and Worship Band is under the direction and guidance of the Worship Pastor, Chase Johnson. Chase has been at FCC since January 2007 and since coming to FCC his whole walk with God has drastically changed. "Just being around people whose desire is souly seeking God and reaching the lost, not playing religion or church; it has changed my whole aspect of how to be a true follower of Christ and also a true worship leader."
