Children are an essential key to the Kingdom of God and an extremely important part of the ministry at FCC.  We are proud to offer children from ages 4 thru 12 a ministry that focuses on them.  Under the direction of the Children’s Pastor Jason and Ruth Dukes, they offer a wonderful approach to teaching the children the importance of developing a relationship with God.  Both Jason and Ruth offer their time and service each Sunday morning beginning at 10:00 am.  The children’s church service last the entire time that the adult service last in the main sanctuary.  During the Sunday morning children’s church they are fed a snacks ranging from breakfast food to chips and cookies.  Each service involves lessons, dancing, praise-n-worship, video lessons, puppet ministry, and of course arts and craft.

FCC also offers a Wednesday night Children’s ministry under the direction of Mike and Fran Nappier.  Both Mike and Fran have been ministers for many years and have recently taken on the role as Wednesday night Children’s Ministry Director’s.  Under their direction and support they have classes divided up according to their ages in order to better educate the children in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  All classes are taught by volunteers and also along with Mike and Fran.  During both the Sunday and Wednesday Children’s ministry, volunteers are used to help make the ministry the best possible.  Without the help of those volunteers the ministry wouldn’t be growing.

Currently there are many changes taking place in our Children’s Ministry to help offer the best to the children.  Jason, Ruth, Mike, Fran, and all the volunteers are going through some extensive training sessions with a wonderful children’s ministry (Kingdom Kids) to become better equipped for FCC and the children that attend each service.  The exciting news is that sometime in the future the children’s ministry will have their own children’s church that they can praise, worship, and learn about God together as a group.  We are looking forward to seeing this develop!
